Now that I'm on my 100th archived page, here is a brief and random retrospective:

Georgia Film Crew

From a few weeks ago at Red Clay. These guys were filming a documentary of the history of Catoosa County. That includes a jump over the border to Bradley County, because Red Clay became the capital specifically to escape (temporarily) the Georgia authorities.

Summation of Election Season

I believe this covers the metaphorical journey of the American voter. And if you don't agree, well, have another drink (or two!) and watch again.

Brilliant Business Idea

While thumbing through the latest L.L. Bean catalog: I told my wife that I should start a regional business that resells L.L. Bean stuff, but with the tags cut off and the names changed to local placenames. For those that haven't followed L.L. Bean over the years: more and more items have Maine placenames attached to them in semi-meaningless (meaningthin?) fashion. Katahdin, Acadia, etc. Plenty of East Tennessee equivalents could be used in short order.

While typing meaningless (well, let's say meaningthin) prose: The current "page" of this blog, numbered under my ad hoc archival strategy, is the 100th (the first archive page is number 99). Perhaps I should post a thoughtful retrospective, or something. Actually, I now have a teeny idea for this. Maybe I'll get to it later this week.
