Peachtree Road Race Training-O-Meter

I felt great during long swims at Barton Springs while in Austin (that counts as cross training, I guess). But now I'm on a 1 to 2 day DL as my bad knee is killing me after the return trip. Maybe I should put myself ahead of Smoltz still, but he gets credit for being more rested than me.

Colorado River Waders


I'm back in Tennesse, but the Texas photos continue. Above, we have some Bastrop County cows wading into the Colorado River to get a drink. OK, I guess you can't really make out those cows; they're the blob on the right bank upriver a little ways.

I had to keep the new 360 building out of this shot (just to the left). It's so skinny that it made the curvature of the lens obvious. Although I mainly spent time at Bastrop, Barton Springs, and Shady Grove, Sunday was also a good day for kicking back at the park. Those running shoes are a pretty new pair - I don't usually have such clean shoes.
